FIELD: cartridges of combat and sporting automatic, semiautomatic and non- automatic small arms. SUBSTANCE: the cartridge has a shot, cartridge case with a bottom part (mainly a detachable one), powder propellant charge with a device for its ignition and a piston. The piston is installed between the shot and the propellant charge for cut-off of the combustion products of the propellant charge in the cartridge case. The piston is joined to the cartridge case by means of a threaded connection for fulfillment of the functions of the latter until the preset threshold value of pressure of the propellant charge combustion products is attained. The cartridge case bottom part is made in the form of a threaded plug with a threaded cup oriented towards the piston and forming an annular gap with the cartridge case. The thread for connection of the piston with the cartridge case is provided respectively on the inner surface of the piston cup and the outer surface of the plug cup at least with a partial arrangement of the piston cup in the mentioned annular gap. EFFECT: improved characteristics of the noiseless cartridge. 4 dwg
