FIELD: decontamination of radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: liquid radioactive wastes including mixture of phosphoric acid esters and kerosene or n- waxes are fed to aluminophosphate melt surface of immobilized radioactive wastes with phosphor content ranging between 53 and 57% at temperature of 800-1200 C. Simultaneously gaseous oxygen is introduced in combustion zone, its amount being at least two-fold of stoichiometric value. Water vapors produced during oxidation of organic materials and gases are entrapped in gas cleaning system and solid residue including phosphor oxides and radionuclides is fused into glass melt. End product in the form of glass is suitable for long-time and safe storage; decontamination process takes place in single apparatus without transfer of ash residue. EFFECT: facilitated procedure, enhanced economic efficiency of process. 2 cl
