FIELD: medicine, in particular, hygiene and ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method involves acting upon user's eyes by providing additional images on screen forming video image, with form and color gamma of additional images facilitating relaxing effect upon visual analyzer. Additional image effect duration is selected within the range of 1.0-6.0 min. Such duration provides for recovery of content of adenosine triphosphate and oxygen in eye tissues. Time intervals between such actions is selected within the range of 20-150 min. Said intervals are set in accordance with time sufficient for tissue souring and occurrence of oxygen lack. User is initially offered additional images having form and color gamma producing relaxing effect upon visual analyzer region of central nervous system. Form and color gamma of additional images producing relaxing effect upon visual analyzer are selected provided that they produce relaxing effect upon eye's straight and oblique muscles. Method further involves providing relaxing action upon hearing organ simultaneously with acting upon visual organ and relaxing action upon neck muscle. Form of at least part of additional images is selected to be continuous and rounded, without distinct transitions and boundaries.
