SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a capsule for cells producing viral particles that consists of an external porous wall and internal polymeric matrix filled with cells producing viral particles. Size of porous wall pores is not less then that of viral particles produced by cells filling a polymeric matrix. Method of preparing a capsule involves suspension of cells producing viral particles in an aqueous solution of polyelectrolyte after which suspension prepared in the form of preliminary formed particles is placed in precipitating bath comprising an aqueous solution of contrarily charged polyelectrolyte. Capsule is designated for using in genetic therapy and/or for cancer treatment or any other similar diseases or disorders.
