SUBSTANCE: what is described is a recombinant vector for vaccination against hepatitis B virus expressing: a coat protein (HBs antigen) of serotype adw of hepatitis B virus (HBV), wherein said coat protein is preferably a small or large envelope protein of genotype A of serotype adw of hepatitis B virus, wherein said small or large coat protein is preferably a small coat protein; and nuclear protein (HBc antigen) of hepatitis B virus serotype ayw, wherein said nuclear protein contains or consists of amino acids 1–149 of HBc antigen, wherein said nuclear protein preferably is nuclear protein from genotype D of serotype ayw of hepatitis B virus; and at least one of the following: immunogenic coat protein (HBs antigen) of hepatitis B virus, the sequence of which is at least 90 % identical to the amino acid sequence presented in SEQ ID NO: 1; and/or immunogenic nuclear protein (HBc antigen) of hepatitis B virus, the sequence of which is at least 90 % identical to the amino acid sequence presented in SEQ ID NO: 2; and/or the immunogenic domain of RT polymerase from hepatitis B virus, the sequence of which is at least 90 % identical to the amino acid sequence presented in SEQ ID NO: 3.
