SUBSTANCE: method intended for application in determination of palladium in ores, concentrates and products of processing thereof, alloys, various production materials, and process solutions involves preparing palladium(II) solution, converting palladium(II) into complex compound and measuring coefficient of diffusion reflection. To that end, palladium(II) is isolated from solutions with silica gel chemically modified by mercapto groups and coefficient of diffusion reflection of palladium(II) complex with mercapto groups is measured at 400 nm directly on silica gel surface.
