FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cobalt-base magnetically soft alloys with low residual magnetic induction. Cobalt-base alloy of an amorphous structure comprises components in the following ratio, at.-%: iron, 1.65-5; manganese, 2-6; silicon, 2-8; boron, 10-20; cobalt, the balance. The sum of iron and manganese is 4-8 at.-% and the sum of silicon and boron is 16-24 at.-%. Alloy shows the low residual induction, high linearity degree of magnetization curve and magnetic induction value B800 above 0.9 Tl. Alloy can be used with the enhanced effectiveness for thermomagnetic treatment in transverse magnetic field. EFFECT: improved properties of alloy. 1 tbl, 1 ex
