FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: in order to attain the highest magnetic properties, it is necessary to introduce simultaneously columbium and molybdenum in an iron-base alloy containing copper, silicon, boron, with columbium to columbium and molybdenum content ratio laying in the range of 0.5-0.9. Substitution of iron for 0.05-0.15 parts of cobalt increases the rectangularity coefficient of magnetic hysteresis loop and broadens the areas of alloy application. The alloy contains elements in the proportion as follows (in atomic % ): copper 0.5-2; silicon 12-18; boron 7-12; columbium 2-4; molybdenum 0.2-2; iron - the balance. EFFECT: improved properties of the alloy. 2 tbl
