FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: method is particularly related to radar systems measuring azimuth with the aid of surveillance radar, it can be used in equipment of primary processing of radar information which is terminal part of radar. Method consists in delay of signal NORTH for half of rated angular width of radar package, in measurement of azimuth of surveillance antenna of radar with reference to direction of delayed NORTH, in measurement of azimuth of outgoing pulse, in determination of center of package of each detected target, in reading azimuth of outgoing pulse by signal CENTER OF PACKAGE OF DETECTED TARGET which is received as azimuth of radar target. Device for realization of method has counter which counting input is connected to bus of signal SCALE AZIMUTHAL PULSE, which zeroing input is connected to bus of signal NORTH through delay unit, unit of AND gates which first inputs are connected to bus of signal CENTER OF PACKAGE OF DETECTED TARGET and which outputs are outputs of device, register which inputs are connected to outputs of counter, which recording input is connected to bus of trigger pulse ( signal corresponding to outgoing pulse ) and which outputs are connected to second inputs of AND gates. EFFECT: increased precision of measurement of azimuth by surveillance radar by measurement of each outgoing pulse and by assignment of this value of azimuth to all targets for which in given sounding signal CENTER OF PACKAGE OF DETECTED RADAR TARGET was generated. 6 dwg
