FIELD: radiolocation, possible use for tracking object trajectories in surveillance radiolocation stations with two-dimensional phased array with narrow beam by both angular coordinates.

SUBSTANCE: method for measuring angular coordinates of object in process of capture of trajectory tracking in strobes includes probing directions of strobe, forming two-dimensional angular packet of detected signals in accordance with given criterion for combining directions in angular packet, computation of angular coordinates of objects, probing of strobe directions is continued until direction is found, in which signal detection has occurred, after that directions are probed near the aforementioned direction, including directions outside strobe limits, if these are part of the zone near the direction, generation of two-dimensional angular packet of detected signals is performed with probing of directions from aforementioned zone, applying to each of them the given criterion for combining directions in angular packet, by the end of generation of two-dimensional angular packet of detected signals, computation of angular coordinates of object is performed.

EFFECT: increased precision when measuring angular coordinates of an object in process of capture and tracking of trajectory in strobes.
