SUBSTANCE: system has magnetic circuit, field winding connected in series opposition to compensating winding placed on solid central core of magnetic circuit, storage capacitor connected to field and compensating windings using current inverter circuit arrangement, switching capacitor, switching choke coil, switching diode, thyristor, and low-voltage power supply. Connected in parallel with compensating winding is equilibrium-orbit radius correction circuit set up of series-interconnected thyristor, variable resistor, and compensating capacitor, the latter being connected in parallel with high-voltage power supply; low-voltage power supply is connected in parallel with field winding and choke coil.
