FIELD: building materials, particularly, methods of production of sound-heat-insulating structural materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing of swollen vermiculite with binding agent in the form of potash water glass, water and hardener (sodium fluorosilicate) in the following ratio, %: swollen vermiculite, 60-80; potash water glass, 20-31; sodium fluorosilicate, 0-8. Mixture is mixed and supplied to mold which is heated up to 100-150 C and pressed. Press plateau is not heated. Pressing is performed at temperature of 20-30 C. Drying is carried out in drying chamber at temperature of 20 to 380 C with gradual raising of temperature during three days and gradual reduction of temperature for four days. Method may be used in construction of incombustible walls, ceilings, doors, board heat insulation, bearing brick walls, sea and river vessels, in metallurgy, aviation, automobile, power and nuclear industries. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of material, higher method productivity. 5 cl
