FIELD: water supply systems, equipment cleaning water from mechanical inclusions and slurry sediment. SUBSTANCE: facility for sediment trapping in pressure pipe-lines includes hydrocyclone with inlet branch pipe, hydraulic elevator, diaphragm placed at angle with respect to axis of pressure pipe-line in which hole nose of hydraulic elevator is located, diffuser installed after diaphragm. Inlet branch pipe is joined to lower part of pipe-line, in point of diaphragm bordering. Discharge branch pipe of hydrocyclone is connected to chamber of reduced pressure of hydraulic elevator. In outer surface of diffuser there are cut curvilinear conduits formed from compressed cycloids and transforming to circular space in the form of dovetail to which inlet branch pipe of hydrocyclone is linked with the aid of additional pipe. Inner surface of lower part of hydrocyclone has curvilinear spiral-like guides transforming to ring chamber. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of facility for sediment trapping in pressure pipe-lines. 4 dwg
