FIELD: domestic washing machines with vertical spindle of rotation. SUBSTANCE: automatic balancing apparatus incorporates annular balancing trough for free motion of steel balls inside it. Balls occupy 1/3 of annular balancing trough internal cavity, 1/3 of said cavity being filled with corrosion-resisting liquid, i. e, 0.2%-solution of NaNo 2 for preventing washing machine parts from corrosion and improving balancing properties of apparatus. During actuation of washing machine engine, corrosion-resisting liquid and balls settle along the whole length of annular balancing trough at speed up stage of squeezing reservoir. Part of said liquid and steel balls are moved by centrifugal force to external wall of balancing trough to result in variation of inertial moment during speeding up of squeezing reservoir. Reservoir spindle is deflected in the direction of action of centrifugal force applied to unbalancing mass. As a result, greater portion of liquid and metal balls is accumulated in balancing trough half opposite to unbalancing part due to correcting mass redistribution effect. At any arbitrary moment, liquid and balls are accumulated in balancing trough half free of unbalancing mass, which results in unbalance compensation leading to reduction of vibration amplitude of movable part and in reduction of vibration of washing machine housing. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced vibration of washing machine parts. 4 dwg
