FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: for execution of the mode they use construction of a domestic washing machine with a tank and a pressing reservoir-drum installed with possibility of rotating relatively to the vertical axis. Four supports in the shape of rods are oriented in space vertically and pivotally are connected with the body and the inner mobile part of the washing machine. Before assembly they measure and align distances between the edges of tank and the wall of the body along all four directions by installing compensating washers under the supports. Loads of different masses are suspended on the wire stretched through two openings fulfilled in the wall of the drum at a height corresponding to the position of the center of weighting of the inner mobile part. The tested samples are placed inside the ring gutter of the balancing ring in the shape of metallic small balls of the same size. Additional radial partitions with notches are fulfilled on the inner lateral surface of the large radius of the balancing ring. The openings for removal the products of corrosion are fulfilled in the gutter. By suspending to the wall of the tank of additional loads they define a critical unbalanced mass of the mechanical system, at whose availability the tank at acceleration brushes against the wall of the body in the assigned dimensions of the working zone of the inner mobile part, after fulfillment of three turns around its vertical axis. In all cases the starting into the motion of the tank and measurement are made periodically during the process of corrosion for case of filling the balancing ring with liquid-solution with retarding agent and without it. According to changing of the speed of corrosion in correspondence with the proposed calculated formula they judge about effectiveness of the retarding agent.

EFFECT: evaluates effectiveness of action of retarding agents.
