FIELD: apparatuses for classification of dispersed materials; applicable in construction, metallurgical, chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: swirl classifier includes cylindrical straight-flow swirl chamber with channels for discharge of classified material in the form of circular slots; swirling device with channels for introduction of powder material, and channels of coarse fraction discharge; swirler; valves and control unit with temperature pickups of cold and hot flows. Each channel for discharge of coarse fraction is made in the form of expanding nozzle from bimetallic material. Internal surface of expanding nozzle has curved grooves longitudinally running from its inlet to outlet holes. EFFECT: higher operating reliability. 2 dwg
