FIELD: die casting and cooling of blanks of foundry products. SUBSTANCE: device uses a plate serving for movement of blanks from the casting zone that are extracted from the mould and held in it. The mentioned plate may have heat exchange devices designed for cooling of the outer surfaces of foundry products or blanks and a system of controlled cooling of the inner surfaces of foundry products or blanks. The device for cooling of products has two sections with a different amount of heat. The foundry product is extracted from two halves of the mould and transferred to the holder on the end of a lever mobile robot and mover to the second position of the closed mould. In the process of this movement the discharge nozzle of the cooling pin is inserted in the inner cavity of the foundry product being in the holder. An open system with a duct for outlet of the gaseous refrigerant supplied through the inner cavity of the foundry product to the environment is formed between the cooled pin and the foundry product. The gaseous refrigerant is fed through the inner duct of the cooling pin stretching up to its discharge nozzle. At an insertion of the cooling pin in the foundry product the discharge nozzle is held up at a certain distance from its first section. Therefore the whole gaseous refrigerant coming out of the nozzle is directed towards the most intensively cooled first section of the foundry product. EFFECT: prevented formation of crystallized sections for improvement of the blank quality and focused cooling of the selected sections containing a great amount of heat. 20 cl, 23 dwg
