SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention consists in that flexible member embraces both driven member and member for waves setting up. In this case, one fixed point of flexible member is fastened to mechanism for reciprocation of radial direction relative to driven member. It is immovable in coincidence of fixed point of flexible member with embraced part of driven member, and its rotation is effected in spacing of said point from embraced part of driven member. The aim of the invention is to increase transmission versatility consisting in possibility of movement of driven member with shutdowns of preset duration, provision of preset number of shutdowns for one revolution of driven member, increase of transmission ratio, variation of instantaneous angular velocity of driven member according to required law.
