FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, cable armature elements, meaning objects like supports, yokes, clamps, meant for hanging long-length objects, primarily self-carrying fiber-optic communication cables on reinforced-concrete and metallic supports of contact network and automatic-blocking along railroad ways.

SUBSTANCE: in known insert in supporting clamp for hanging fiber-optic communication cable on supports of contact network, containing two symmetric semi-ring elements of elastic material, provided with holding elements inside metallic bushing of supporting clamp and forming a longitudinal channel for positioning of cable, external surface of which has cylindrical shape, in accordance to invention, as elastic material, electro-conductive rubber is utilized, specific volumetric resistance of which is not more than 6 Ohm·m, while internal surface of semi-ring elements is made in form of smoothly growing spreading from center to edges.

EFFECT: increased service time of fiber-optic cables due to prevention of electro-thermal destruction of insert material and fiber-optic cable, caused by electric penetration as a result of induced voltage from high-voltage contact network, increased working bend of cable in range of angles 45°÷50°.
