SUBSTANCE: the aerial fairing has a ceramic hood with right and inverse cones made on the inner surface, metal frame and a split metal insert mechanically coupled to one another and connected to the ceramic hood by adhesive based on silicone rubbers differing by the fact that the split insert is made of plastic metal, for example, aluminum, copper or alloys based on them, and its outer surface conjugates in profile the inner surface of the ceramic hood, uniformly distributed slots are made on the inner surface of the insert, the summary area of the slots makes up 0.65 to 0.9 of the area of the insert inner surface.
EFFECT: enhanced duration of service life and enhanced strength of the metal-ceramics joint at power and thermal actions on the fairing.
