FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: armchair has seat, arced elbow rests and back, which are mounted on rotary support adjustable in vertical plane. Metal tubular carcass of mentioned parts of armchair is structural unity of prefabricated frame members. Platform is secured to support and welded to back frame member. Platform is provided with telescopic retainer made in the form of two bars located in guides opposite to adjusting screws and connected through spacer. Elbow rest frame members are manufactured from paired tubular profile. Armchair of such construction is readily assembled and its frame members are easily adjusted to form rigid carrier carcass, and it is quickly dismantled for compact transportation and storage.
