FIELD: chairs and arm-chairs with tubular carcasses. SUBSTANCE: arm-chair has carcass with frames of back 1 with arm-rests 2, bases 3 and seats 4, which are interconnected one with another. Frame of back 4 is connected with frame of base 3 at side adjacent to back by joining branches of U-shaped beam 10 of back frame with beams 8,9 of base frame. Additional beams 14 and 15 are mounted at joining location. Ends of branches are curved at acute angle and directed toward seat. Branches 11 of beam 10 are interconnected by cross-pieces 12, to which flat springs 13 are attached. Seat frame is positioned between beams 5 and 6 of frame 1, which are interconnected by members 7. Veneer sheet is attached to carcass, then porous material is glued to it with following covering with upholstering material. Connection between seat frame 4 and base frame 3 and cantilevered position of seat frame 4 extending between beams 5,6 of frame 1 impart springy property to seat. Arm-chair carcass is formed as spatial loop with annular surface. EFFECT: improved quality by reduced weight and sizes and increased springy properties of arm-chair. 4 cl, 25 dwg
