FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: elbow rest has carcass with face panel, which covers elbow rest cavity front side and is pivotally fixed to carcass base, extensible table top and transformation mechanism comprising L-shaped stem. Stem has pivot joint positioned on transverse arm end and adapted to position table top for rotation in plane perpendicular to stem transverse arm, guide fixed to stem longitudinal arm, follower adapted for setting stem movement path during transformation for moving table between operating position and in operating position. Table is readily oriented in operating position and is driven to said position by rotating table top around pivot joint axis and together with stem around its longitudinal arm.
