FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing the area of cortical vision center projections to laser radiation in continuous mode with 5-10 mW power 5 min each field, two fields being treated in one procedure. Trigeminus nerve branch exit points are subjected to electric stimulation with exponential profile electric current on both sides. Impulse duration is equal to 500 ms with 1Hz frequency, current amplitude is equal to 0.5-5 mA. The treatment is carried out until phosphenes are produced and during 1 min in each point after their production occurs. The total treatment course is 5-10 daily procedures long. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of optic nerve stimulation.
