CARBONIZER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2190028 C2

FIELD: hydrometallurgy and other branches of industry using processes of treating liquids with gases. SUBSTANCE: carbonizer has housing with cover, drive, shaft with mixing devices, gas distributing device with grids, and gas supply branch pipes. Gas distributing device is fixed on housing by means of brackets and is formed of individual segments, whose grids are inclined to shaft of apparatus. Gas dispersing devices are fixed to shaft of mixing device and are composed of two rigidly interconnected parts. One of parts is located above grids and other part is positioned between gas distributor and shaft. Carbonizer has reactant supply and discharge branch pipes and hatch. EFFECT: reduced power consumption for solution carbonization process, increased efficiency and simplified construction. 3 cl, 3 dwg
