FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the equipment of hydrometallurgical works particularly to the production of alumina by the way of aluminate solutions carbonisation. Carboniser of the aluminate solutions includes the casing 1, mixing device with center shaft 4 and drive 3, connecting pipes for input and withdrawal of the processed solution and reaction gas, gas-distributing device with one ore more perforated plate 8 and device for gas dispergation with blades consisting of the inner 11 and end 10 parts. Both parts of the said blades are tilted to the horizontal plane; endparts passing directly above the perforated plate are designed with negative incidence 5-45° to horizontal plane .

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce for 3-15% the energy demands for suspension mixing in carboniser.
