FIELD: orbital electric drive units of industrial robots operating, mainly in angular coordinate systems. SUBSTANCE: system includes end stators and end rotors mounted on rotary foundation. Rotors are mounted on foundation by two rows. Planes of rotor orbits are mutually parallel. Axes of one row of rotors are arranged in interrotor spacings of other row of rotors. EFFECT: improved design allowing to increase torque, to lower mass and size of system due to using second parallel active zone and due to more close arrangement of units. 2 dwg
