FIELD: wireless radio communications. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has plurality of remote terminals communicating through air interface with plurality of base radio stations. Base stations are designed as repeaters or relay stations and communication between base stations and central control unit is established by using same interface and communication protocol for communication between terminals and base stations. Radio interface facility of base station may be used to advantage both for communication between base station and central control unit and for communication between base station and terminals. System can operate in compliance with Digital European Cordless Telecommunications (DECT). System dispenses with special protocol interfaces to support base stations, and also it needs no cables, connectors, and the like for interconnecting central control unit and base stations.
