FIELD: separating equipment. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator has cylindrical housing equipped with baffles and branch pipe for discharge of mineral suspension containing small amounts of valuable components, slide valves with sliding mechanisms mounted at lower base of cylindrical housing and in said branch pipe, tangential branch pipe adapted for supplying mineral suspension and made from non-conductive material. Metal inclusion detector is positioned coaxially and movably on tangential branch pipe and electrically connected to delay line. Separator is further provided with light and heavy fraction discharge devices. Heavy fraction discharge device is made in the form of conical part with helical channel on its internal surface and is connected with annular valuable component accumulator and filled with liquid immiscible mineral suspension. Said device is made from bimetallic material. Helical channel cavity is made in the form of dovetail. Separator may be used for extraction of gold and platinum-containing sands, and also in basin purification systems, as well as in construction material industry. EFFECT: increased quality and efficiency of gold and platinum-containing sands from concentration house tailings containing valuable components by preventing said components from falling out of helical channel cavity of heavy fraction discharge device. 2 dwg
