FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of gold and platinum-containing sands and may be used in ponds cleaning systems, construction, etc. Proposed separator comprises cylindrical case with deflectors, mineral suspension discharge branch pipe, flaps with drives arranged at cylindrical case bottom base and in mineral suspension discharge branch pipe. Metal inclusion detector made from non-conducting material is arranged on case outer surface and connected to delay line. It comprises also means to discharge light and heavy fractions. Heavy fraction discharge means represents taper section with screw groove on inner surface communicated with annular collector of valuable components and filled with fluid mot mixing with mineral suspension. Heavy fraction discharge means is made from bimetal while screw groove cavity features dovetail shape. Aforesaid drives represent drive motors with flap displacement speed regulator. The latter is connected with flow rate regulator connected to flow rate pickup. Flap displacement speed regulator is connected with delay regulator output with detector connected thereto. Flow rate and delay regulators comprise interconnected comparison and setting units. Comparison unit is connected with input of electronic amplifier equipped with unit of nonlinear feedback circuit. Electronic amplifier output is connected with magnetic amplifier input. Magnetic amplifier incorporates rectifier with its output connected to speed regulator made up of powder electromagnetic couplings of flap drive mechanisms.
EFFECT: higher and invariable efficiency of centrifugal separator.
