SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel amide derivatives of the general formula (I) or its salt where A means thiazolylene, imidazolylene, triazolylene, benzimidazolylene, benzothiazolylene, thiadiazolylene, imidazopyridylene or imidazothiazolylene; X means a bond, -NR5-, -NR5-CO-, -NR5-CONH-, NR5SO2-, -NR5-C(= NH)NH-; R1 means H, lower alkyl, aryl, pyridyl, thienyl, furyl, thiazolyl, benzimidazolyl, imidazopyridyl, triazolyl, thiadiazolyl, imidazolyl, imidazothiazolyl, benzothiazolyl, cyclohexyl that can be optionally substituted with halogen atom, lower alkyl, -OH, -CN, -NO2,-CF3,-NH2, -O-lower alkyl and a substitute lower alkyl can be substituted with phenyl, naphthyl, furyl, thienyl or pyridyl; R2a,R2b mean H or lower alkyl; R3 means hydrogen atom or lower alkyl; R4a,R4b mean H or OH or taken in common they form groups =O or =N-O-lower alkyl; R5 means H or lower alkyl. Invention discloses also some particular compounds and a pharmaceutical composition promoting insulin secretion and enhancing the susceptibility to insulin.
