FIELD: transmission pipe lines; operation of transmission pipe lines under conditions of intentional or actual loss of tightness of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes container moving on rollers rolling over inner surface of pipe. Secured on container wall are leakage sensor and sealant. Sensor is made in form of ring from non-magnetic elements on which magnetic circuits with windings are secured; they are pressed to walls of pipe by means of poles located in parallel relative to pipe line axis. Each winding is connected with computer input whose second input is connected with covered distance sensor and output is connected with actuating members of pipe wall sealant made in form of ring with chute where sections of pyro charge are located with segments of plastic sealant placed over these sections. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of repair of leaks in pipe line walls mainly at unauthorized intake of oil or gas. 2 dwg
