FIELD: navigational systems of flying vehicles, sea-going ships and transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed accelerometer has body, inertial mass mounted on gimbals, differential capacitance-type transducer of inertial mass linear motion and measuring unit. Gimbals of inertial mass is made in form of belt gimbals with radial corrugations in section of inner frame between radial pairs of shorter orthogonal strips connecting inertial mass and frame with accelerometer body. Fused quartz is used as material for accelerometer body, inertial mass and belt gimbals. EFFECT: low cost of instrument; enhanced operational reliability. 5 cl, 3 dwg
