FIELD: measurement of density of liquid media while studying their properties. SUBSTANCE: pressure that lifts examined liquid in capillary is formed with supply of voltage to electrodes installed in tube with examined dielectric liquid. With supply of voltage to electrodes in capillary column of examined liquid is forced to zero level which is recorded by system of " needle-semi-ring " electrode. Density of liquid is established analytically with use of dependence of measured currents across electrodes in tube and capillary. EFFECT: potential to measure density of little quantities of liquid, diminished sluggishness of process and simplified design of device. 1 dwg
