FIELD: constructions of sealings of flanged large-diameter joints, possibly in plants and apparatuses operating at high temperature and pressure values. SUBSTANCE: flanged connector includes two flanges. One flange partially embraces another flange along cylindrical surface. Main and additional gaskets are arranged between flanges. Diameters of embracing and embraced surfaces of flanges are twice changed for forming annular steps at different depth. Gaskets are arranged between flat surfaces of respective steps. Diameter of additional gasket is more than that of main gasket. The last is made of expanded graphite rolled in metallic envelope. Metallic spacing ring is arranged between end surface of female flange and mutually opposite surface of male flange. Thickness of said ring is less than that of main gasket. According to preferable variant of invention main and additional gaskets are made by helically winding band of graphite foil and then rolling it in metallic envelope. Lateral edges of wound band in gaskets are turned to those surfaces of flange between which respective gasket is fixed. EFFECT: improved reliability of sealing of flanged connector. 5 cl, 2 dwg
