FIELD: thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: tetrahedral shielded prismatic furnace is divided into central combustion chamber 3 and peripheral combustion chamber 4 by means of flat inner shields 2 provided with two rows of ports; combustion chambers are located in corners of furnace. Inner shield 2 is provided with upper and lower bypass ports 5 and 6, nozzles 7 and 8 for supply of concentrated mixture and for secondary blast being located at level of these ports. Inner shield 2 is made in form of baffle plate bent inside peripheral combustion chamber 4 and covered with armored plate 12 at level of lower bypass port 6. Axis of nozzle 7 made in form of horizontal slot with bell-mouth 9 is directed towards armored plate 12. Jet expansion angle of nozzle 7 is equal to width of inner shield 2 at level of baffle plate 11. Armored plates 14 are mounted on outer shield 13 above secondary blast nozzles 8 and above baffle plate 11. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
