FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves successively drying pressed beet pulp in two units; drying in drum dryer to intermediate moisture content of 40-60%; additionally drying beet pulp to moisture content of 12% in steam-heated evaporator; cleaning produced juice steam from beet pulp dust in wet cyclone; compressing in compressor to 0.25-0.3 MPa with high-pressure steam; saturating with heating steam condensate in mixing heat-exchanger and directing to plant evaporating station; discharging condensate in steam generators of electric station. Method allows total heat consumption for heating process for same raw beet pulp output to be reduced by 26-60% depending on intermediate moisture content. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced beet pulp losses due to carrying away and burning out of small particles and improved quality of dry beet pulp. 2 dwg
