FIELD: medicine, in particular, physiotherapy. SUBSTANCE: belt has one or several heating packages comprising plurality of heating cells. To relieve pain, heating belt is applied to user's back. Heating back belt conforms to user's back shape. Heat generating composition comprises powder iron, water, carbonaceous material, metal salt and water retention material. Each heating package has continuous layer of semirigid material. Heating belt therapy is performed for 4-24 hours, with back skin temperature being maintained within the range of 32-41 C. Heating belt is used for therapy of rheumatism and other diseases connected with insufficient mobility of joints and muscles.
