FIELD: food industry, medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions used for administration of iodine-containing substances in body. Invention proposes iodine-containing composition comprising mixtures of crystals of sodium chloride with laminarin-containing product in pharmacologically acceptable doses. Laminarin, sugar laminaria or products of its processing are used laminarin-containing product in the dose 0.01-0.1% of total composition weight. Invention provides the exception of possibility of iodine overdosing. Stability of new salt is improved in storage, it shows enhanced anticaking indices, in part, it can be stored without loss of properties for 7 and more years.
