FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a sugar-containing product, according to which white sugar crystals and laminaria powder are first separated, which are then mixed for 5-10 minutes and a mixture is obtained with content of laminaria particles in it in amount of 0.5-1.5% of the weight of sugar. Then the mixture is moistened with pectin solution and cranberry juice solution taken at ratio of 1:1, which are preliminarily subjected to cavitation-cumulative treatment. Obtained mass is brought to moisture content before pressing of 1.6-1.8%, pressed and the finished product is obtained.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an iodinated pressed sugar-containing product.
