FIELD: manufacture of shaped castings and ingots. SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of casting metal to mold having tangentially mixing apparatus; simultaneously supplying microcoolers heated until temperature consisting (0.1-0.2) of metal temperature at casting it for preventing premature metal solidifying in gating system; interrupting introduction of heated microcoolers after filling casting mold by 0.15-0.3 of its volume; at further filling of casting mold introducing cold microcoolers for increasing solidifying rate and providing disintegrated metal structure. EFFECT: increased density, enhanced mechanical properties of metal, less number of rejected castings. 1 tbl, 1 ex
