FIELD: oil processing. SUBSTANCE: bitumen is produced by visbreaking of directly distilled oil residues with subsequent atmospheric distillation of visbreaking product and separation of bitumen in the form of residue. Directly distilled oil residues are used in the form of mazut in mixture with heavy gas oil of 340-420 C fraction which is separated by atmospheric distillation of visbreaking products with their ratio of 1:(0.05-0.6), and bitumen is separated in the form of residue boiling out at temperature of above 370 C. EFFECT: extended stock base for production of bitumen, higher quality of bitumen, simplified production process. 1 tbl, 5 tbl
