FIELD: manufacture of strips of silicon steels with oriented grain structure due to respective synergistic combination of concrete selected content of steel ingredients and corresponding treatment processes. SUBSTANCE: continuously cast slab of steel containing (mass.%): silicon - 3.12; carbon - 0.045; manganese - 0.073; sulphur - 0.008; aluminum sol. - 0,032; nitrogen - 0.0082; copper -0.1; stannum - 0.053; chrome - 0.02; molybdenum - 0.01; nickel - 0.04; phosphorus -0.01, titanium - 0.002, ferrum and inevitable impurities - the balance, is heated up to 1260 C and it is rolled until thickness 2.2 mm and cooled until 650 C. Rolled strip is subjected to sand blasting and etching; then it is cold rolled until thickness 0.23 mm. Further strip is subjected to continuous decarburizing annealing in nitrogen-hydrogen atmosphere and to nitrogenizing annealing. Strip is coated with MgO-base release layer preventing sticking at annealing, it is coiled and then it is annealed at 1200 C and cooled in air. EFFECT: possibility for providing rational production cycle for obtaining optimal quality of rolled strip. 8 cl, 3 notes, 5 tbl
