FIELD: production of sheets from electrical steel. SUBSTANCE: in production of sheets from electrical steel with oriented grains, required steel structure and liberated phase are produced by regulation of continuous casting of sheet slab. Steel contains initial amount of carbon less 300 ppm, and initial content of soluble in acid aluminum is higher than usually used for said type of steel. During final operations of process, annealed sheet is nitrided with the help of limited amount of nitrogen. It allows control of grain sizes and manufacture of articles of constant quality.
