FIELD: metallurgy, particularly, production of ferroalloys and alloying compositions for steel deoxidation and alloying. SUBSTANCE: deoxidizer is made in the form of composite in which aluminum is contained in capacity of low-melting master component, and iron-base alloy is in capacity of high-melting reinforcing component with ratio of weight fractions of master and reinforcing components within 25/75 - 50/50. Reinforcing component from iron-base alloy is used in the form of steel and/or cast iron in particles sizing 0.5-10.0 mm. EFFECT: increased assimilation of aluminum by liquid steel by 20-40%, improved steel quality due to higher stability of process of its deoxidation. 3 cl, 1 tbl
