Lower extremity varus deformity correction value is determined as L3 = L2-L1. L3 distance control is carried out in postoperative period during the whole correction period its finishing. When measuring L1 and L2, measuring device is used that has two branches articulated at one pair of ends, the other free ends bearing contacts on the external surface and having rotatable cantilever ruler attached to one of them. The device has base, soles angularly rotatably and fixedly mounted and fixed on platform base for placing feet. The soles are movable towards each other at a value determined by built-in ruler until they are fully brought together on which side angular stop members are set in mirror symmetric position.
