FIELD: medicine, in particular, cosmetic surgery in traumatology and orthopedics, applicable at cosmetic correction of the shape of extremities. SUBSTANCE: contour- graphic image is obtained on paper, which provides for construction of various models of shape of the patient's extremities depending on correction of the mechanical axle, degree of correction. The device comprises a recorder and an installation comprising a base that carries a post with a back attached to it. The back is not more than 1 m distant from the base and projects over the post at least by 0.15 m, as a result, a cavity is formed under the back for free location of the external fixing apparatuses and recorder. The recorder has a platform with two pairs of wheels, at which a flexible member with a stylus at the end is supported as a cantilever in the front part. The patient is placed in the installation, and internal and external contours of the lower extremities are plotted by means of the recorder on lined paper fixed on the post under the back.
