FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to orthopedic cosmetology and can be used in cosmetic correction of lower extremity shape, namely in case of lower extremity valgus. Distance between internal surfaces of heel areas of both feet is measured in pre-operation period with joined knee joints. Distance between said points is measured with knee joints brought apart on fixed distance, exceeding dimensions of apparatus of external fixation. Correction is performed to the distance between internal surfaces of knee areas of both feet, equal the difference of distances between internal surfaces of heel areas of both feet with brought apart and joined knee joints.
EFFECT: method ensures accurate controlled correction of lower extremity valgus correction.
