FIELD: processes of aluminum sulfate production. SUBSTANCE: process includes spraying of aluminum sulfate in fluidized bed apparatus and subsequent cooling of sprayed aluminum sulfate fusion cake by ascending air flow. In so doing, aluminum sulfate fusion cake is sprayed in fluidized bed apparatus at temperature not higher 115 C, and cooling is carried out at rate of 35-45 C/s to 90 C, and at rate of 15-25 C/s, to 70 C. Fusion cake contains, preferably, 18.0-20.0 wt. % of aluminum oxide. Additionally either into aluminum sulfate fusion cake or into air flow may be introduced not more 2 wt. % of seed in the form of highly dispersed aluminum sulfate fraction sizing no less mcm separated from purification filters and presenting production wastes in the form of entrained dust. Process productivity is no less 2000 kg/h. Produced aluminum sulfate has bulk density of 110-13000 kg/cu. m in flaky particles and possesses high efficiency in purification of sewage waters.
