FIELD: organometallic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to macrocyclic complexes of metallic ligands used as activating agents of bleach. Invention describes lignin-base whitening composite for bleaching comprising effective amount of oxidizing agent source that presents macrocyclic tetraamido-ligand resistant to oxidation by formula (I) where X and Z mean hydrogen atom, electron-donor or electron-acceptor group; R1 and R11 mean alkyl and cycloalkyl; M means transient metal with oxidation degree I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII that is taken among 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11-th group of periodic system of elements, system IU PAC; Q means any anti-ion that would neutralize the compound charge based on stoichiometry; L means optionally presenting labile ligand and when it presents in aqueous solution then L means water. Invention describes also method of lignin-containing materials whitening, method of lignin oxidation and bleaching. Invention ensures to enhance whitening degree of lignin-containing materials due to the use of indicated activating agent of bleach.
